Homeowners Scared Into Submission Through Threats & Lawsuits
Elderly, Sickly, Poor Homeowners Denied All Rights
Vista, CALIF. (August 14, 2020) - A small Vista, California resident-owned mobile home park has been taken over by two aggressive attorneys who have gained control by scaring, threatening, humiliating, and suing the elderly, sickly, and poor residents. The lawyers have frightened into submission any owner who stands up to them and they are charging park funds excessive legal and attorney fees, in what seems an attempt to drive the park into bankruptcy and into the hands of unscrupulous developers. The mobile home park is on prime property overlooking the picturesque hills of Bonsall, Oceanside, and Vista.
The property manager has taken away ALL the rights of the owners: the right to have elections; the right to speak up; the right to petition; the right to voice their concerns about the running of their park and their management company; the right to stand up for themselves …
The property manager was terminated but refuses to leave. After he was terminated, he used park funds to pay for another attorney to threaten and file lawsuits against any owner who tries to stand up to the property manager.
If any owner makes a stand, these two lawyers mail out untrue and publicly humiliating letters about them, threaten their membership status, and files frivolous defamation and other lawsuits against them. The two lawyers took the owners’ membership records and anyone who speaks up is forced to prove that they are the rightful owner of their home.
The park owners have contacted several agencies for help but the lawyers lie about what’s happening, blame the park owners, and tell such a confusing story that it’s almost impossible to figure out the truth of what’s happening. The park owners can’t afford legal representation.
The park owners retrieved their park funds out of the control of these two lawyers and the lawyers filed a fraudulent lawsuit against them for theft. The lawyers lied to the courts: Filing as the “plaintiff” when they are not authorized by a legal board and claiming to be the park’s property manager and legal counsel when this isn’t the case.
